Bougainvillea Beach Resort is owned by the Seale family of Barbados. Gordon and Maria Nancy built the first 20 rooms in 1994 and have grown the property to its 138 studios and suites over the years.  With a high level of repeat clients and long-serving staff, the hotel feels welcoming and homey.

The grounds with little waterfalls and brightly coloured flowers – gives the charm and tropical feel of the Caribbean. Accommodation

From just 20 rooms in 1994, the family-owned Barbados resort now has 138 spacious rooms, which range from junior suites to two bedroom beachfront suites. All have ocean, garden or pool views from the balcony or terrace, and beautifully designed interiors in cool Caribbean colours and fabrics.

All rooms offer self-catering facilities with kitchen/ kitchenettes with oven, microwave and fridge, as well as a sitting area.  It’s all designed to have a touch of home for your comfort and convenience. Children 15 years and under stay free in all rooms all year round, which is an added bonus for families.

Facilities

In addition to being on the ¼ mile white sand Maxwell Beach, the hotel’s facilities include 3 pools, a swim-up bar, gym, spa, tennis court and two restaurants – Lanterns by the sea and Water’s Edge Restaurant.

Guests can take the free Friday night shuttle service into Oistins, a major fishing community and modern fish market just five minutes from the hotel. There it’s a truly Bajan flavour from the food – the very best local grilled and fried fish, along with popular local dishes, fish cakes, sweet potato, macaroni pie – to the local bands and the island’s people.

For families at Bouganvillea, children 15 years and under stay free year round. When eating with parents, all children under 4 years dine free, and children 4 – 11 years eat at half-price.
