Here you can sit on a plant-filled veranda sipping some local brew watching the sun sink behind the verdant carpeted peaks which roll away into the distant Caribbean Sea. At an altitude of 1700 feet the temperature here is "tres" comfortable.
The Villa houses an extensive Dominican Art collection alongside pieces from other parts of the Caribbean and Europe. Antiques and heirlooms from around the world lend warmth to the Villa's spaces. Harmony Villa is a place to nourish your inner self and inspire your creative soul.
A fully furnished home with many beautiful antiques, heirlooms and an extensive Art Collection imbues an inspiring atmosphere within the Villa. The 960sq’ Veranda overlooks most of the 2 acres of manicured Rainforest. The Temperature is very comfortable and cool so we do not require fans or air conditioning, the quaint Wood Burning Stove in the indoor living room creates warmth during the cooler months.
The Kitchen with Breakfast Bar is furnished with most modern appliances and is central to the design of the House. A study space on the Mezzanine offers a writing & work Desk as well as in the Master Suite. The Ground Floor open plan studio is great for indoor exercise and creative sessions and spills out onto a 450sq’ covered patio.
The Master Suite is the largest room with choice antiques and a double 4-poster Bed. The Green Room and Forest Room have a double Bed each and our Blue Room offers a Queen sized bed. All are en-suite with their bathrooms. There is a Sofa-bed in the Living room and a small washroom off it. Two single daybeds in the Ground floor Studio and one in the cozy corner of the veranda all offer additional sleeping space. Therefore, Harmony Villa can accommodate up to 8 adults comfortably or 8 adults and 4 children.
