Accommodation includes a main villa of 4 bedrooms and a private one-bedroom cottage which all feature pool, sundeck, cable tv, ceiling fans, in-room safes, irons/boards, Wifi.

The Upper Room: King bed, twin daybed, exotic open air rainforest shower

The Sanctuary: King four-poster bed, ensuite bath

Caribbean Dreams: Twin-bed or King-bed, twin daybed, ensuite bath

The Hummingbird Family Room: Queen-bed, queen sofabed and queen futon, private bathroom/shower

The private Cozy Cottage has a King-bed, twin daybed, shower, refrigerator

The gardens surrounding the villas are a tropical paradise and bird watcher's dream with a variety of birds making this foliage their home like hummingbirds, mockingbirds, finches, banana quits, woodpeckers, parrolettes, bald pates, doves, chicken hawks and many more.

What’s special?

The Blue House is a family-affair owned and run by Elise Yap, a third generation Hakka Chinese Jamaican, her brother Darryl who is the “Barefoot Chef” and her mom Gloria who runs the laundry services. They all delight in sharing their intimate knowledge and love of Jamaica with their guests.

About 3 years ago, Elise founded Bread Basket Ministries, a Christian non-profit charity that serves the physical, emotional, social and spiritual need of poverty stricken men, women and children in the surrounding Ocho Rios area. The Blue House donates a major portion of its profits to this charity.
